Next to the platform, at the top, about 100 metres above the ground, is a café called Panoramacafe. There is probably nowhere else in Berlin where you can drink a coffee with such a view.
From the Panormama point you can see many important sights of Berlin very well. These include the Tiergarten Park, the Victory Column, the Brandenburg Gate, Bellevue Palace, the Reichstag and the TV Tower at Alexanderplatz. You can also get an excellent view of the immediate surroundings at Potsdamer Platz, such as the Sony Center.

Although it’s not as high as the TV tower, you don’t see much less from the panorama point. At Potsdamer Platz, you are in the centre of the city. In our opinion, the TV Tower at the Alex, the World Balloon near Checkpoint Charlie and the Panorama Point described here are the three best viewpoints of Berlin.

You can see in all directions from the Panorama Point. The ride up in the fast lift takes only 20 seconds. The building with the viewing platform (height 101 metres) is called the Kollhoff Tower.
