Online travel information about Berlin
Berlin is the largest city and the capital of Germany. After London and Paris, Berlin is the third most important city in Europe for city tourism. Not without reason: Berlin has a lot to offer holidaymakers. Almost 10 million visitors spend the night in Berlin every year. In addition, there are many more day tourists.
Many of the sights in Berlin are in the center of the city, about along an axis main station – Alexanderplatz. These include the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and the Museum Island. But there are also attractions outside Berlin’s city centre that are well worth a visit. The most popular is a trip to Potsdam to Sanssouci Palace.
This online travel guide is still in its infancy. Many important sights in and around Berlin are not yet described. I would like to do this in the near future. In the coming months there will also be information about accommodation, Berlin public transport, the nightlife of the capital of Germany and much more.
“Berlin is worth a trip” – is an old saying in Germany that today, almost 30 years after reunification, is perhaps more correct than ever before. Have fun in Berlin and with this little travel guide. For us Berlin is by far the interesting city of our country!
